Woman Attacked Near Vienna Metro Station

Fairfax County Police are investigating an attack near the Vienna/Fairfax Metro Station. It happened Saturday, June 2 around 10:30 p.m. Police say a 50-year-old Vienna-area woman was walking home from Metro when a man atacked her along a foot path near the 9500 block of Lagersfield Circle. The woman told police the man grabbed her, kissed her and pushed her to the ground. The victim screamed and the suspect fled. She was not injured.
Police are looking to see if this attack was related to similar assaults in the area recently. Authorities ask anyone with information to call Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
