1 Killed, 3 Injured By Carbon Monoxide

One person is dead and two others are hospitalized after an apparent carbon monoxide accident in Bethesda. Montgomery County fire officials say the victims were overcome by the deadly gas in a town house neighborhood in the 8,600 block of Garden Way.

Investigators say a car was found running in the basement garage level at about four p.m. Monday. Upstairs, one man was dead and a woman was unconscious. Two people in neighboring townhouses were also overcome and taken to be checked out.
