Toddler With Problematic Name Faces Immigration Limbo

Is the U.S. government confusing a 3-year-old with the former leader of an Islamic militant group?
That's what a civil rights group believes is keeping a U.S. citizen from bringing his son into the country from Morocco.
Abdeloihab Boujrad has fought unsuccessfully for more than two years to have his son join him, and the U.S. government has never explained why it hasn't taken action on the immigration application. He's only spoken to his son on the phone and through an Internet video hookup.
The boy's first name, Ahmedyassine, resembles the name of Sheik Ahmed Yassin, the founder of the militant Palestinian group Hamas, who was assassinated by Israel in 2004.
Officials with the Council on American-Islamic Relations believe that's the only explanation.
U.S. immigration officials are referring questions to the State Department, but a State Department spokesman says he has no information on the case.
