Six additional charges have been filed against the Damascus, Va. police chief, who's accused of distributing methamphetamine.

State police said Sunday that 40-year-old Anthony Stephen Richardson now faces seven felony counts. Along with the original meth distribution charge, Richardson has been charged with three counts of distribution of a controlled substance, two counts of distribution of a schedule three drug and one count of possession of a firearm with a schedule one or two drug.

Virginia State Police Sergeant M.T. Conroy says Richardson was arrested without incident at the Damascus Police Department Saturday. He is free on 20,000 dollars bond and will be arraigned July 25th in Washington County General District Court.
