Masked Superhero Impersonator Robs Pharmacy

Fairfax County Police hope to track down a superhero-impersonating robber with a taste for OxyContin.

Detectives say a man wearing a red Spider-Man mask entered the Giant Store at 9550 Burke Road on Monday afternoon and announced a robbery. The robber proceeded to the pharmacy, waited for one pharmacist to leave then sneaked behind the counter. He implied a weapon and ordered the second pharmacist to give him OxyContin. The masked man got away with an undisclosed amount of pills. No one was hurt.
