(Sports Network) - Minnesota Lynx guard Seimone Augustus and Indiana Fever guard-forward Katie Douglas were named the Western and Eastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for the period ending Sunday, June 1. The award is the second weekly honor for Augustus and the third for Douglas in their respective careers.
Augustus helped pace the Lynx to a 3-0 mark, leading the team in scoring each game with an average of 22.0 points while shooting 24-of-45 (.533) from the field. She also tied for the team lead in rebounds per game (6.3) and established a new single-game career-high in rebounds with nine in back-to- back contests.

The third-year player is averaging 20.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists while hitting 50.8 percent of her field goals and 50.0 percent of her three- pointers this season.
Douglas helped the Fever to a 2-1 mark, including a double-overtime win over the previously unbeaten Los Angeles Sparks. Douglas scored a game-high 25 points in becoming the second player in Fever franchise history with four straight 20-point games.
Douglas, in her eighth year, is averaging 21.4 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals while hitting 43.8 percent of her field goals this season.
