The Washington Redskins (web|news) should be easier to find on the radio next season. The team's broadcasting arm is buying three new stations in the Washington area.

Red Zebra Broadcasting said Wednesday it has entered into an agreement to acquire WTEM - also known as Sportstalk 980 - plus WTNT and WWRC from Clear Channel Communications.

Redskins Radio programs are currently heard on three other local stations, but fans have complained about the stations' weak signals.

The Redskins say Sportstalk 980 will retain its current lineup of talent for now, but the team said all programs will be evaluated in the coming months.

The purchase is subject to approval by the Federal Communications Commission.
