Intel gets FTC subpoena on processor competition

Intel says it has received a subpoena from the Federal Trade Commission concerning its practices in the microprocessor market.The No. 1 processor maker has been cooperating with the FTC since 2006 on an informal inquiry into competition in the microprocessor market. Santa Clara, Calif.-based Intel Corp. says it will comply with the subpoena received Wednesday. Intel says it believes its business practices are legal.
