The Washington Redskins (web|news) have re-signed linebacker Rian Wallace and defensive end Dorian Smith, bringing back two players released earlier this offseason.

Wallace was a 2005 fifth-round pick by Pittsburgh. He played in 16 games for the Steelers and was out of football in 2007. He signed with the Redskins in January but was released earlier this month.

Smith is an undrafted rookie out of Oregon State. The Redskins signed him on May 1 and released him May 27.

Also Monday, the Redskins released cornerback Eddie Jackson and linebacker Bryan Wilson
