(Sports Network) - Celtics starting point guard Rajon Rondo didn't practice Wednesday, one night after leaving Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Lakers with an injury to his left ankle. "It feels a little better," said Rondo, who has a bone bruise. "It's still sore. I got treatment again this morning, but it's getting better."
When asked if he would play on Thursday, Rondo said, "nobody in this league is 100 percent, but I'm sure I'll play tomorrow night."

Rondo was leading a fast break down the left side of the court when he came to a stop and passed to teammate Ray Allen. The Boston point guard rolled his left ankle a bit while stopping, however, and quickly fell to the floor in pain with 11:16 left in the quarter.
Rondo was helped off the court by teammates and limped into the locker room. He was expected to return, however. The young guard had six points on 3-of-7 shooting at the time of the injury. He was replaced at the point by Eddie House, and returned with just under eight minutes left in the fourth quarter.
The Celtics, who still lead the best-of-seven series 2-1, have depended on Rondo to engineer the offense. He had 16 assists in Game 2, a 108-102 victory, before being limited to eight points and four assists in Boston's 87-81 loss.
