Court records indicate that a Frederick man who died after he was Tasered by police had a history of resisting arrest.

Frederick radio station WFMD reports that Jarrell Gray had been arrested at least four times before his run-in with a Frederick County sheriff's deputy last November.

According to charging documents, Gray refused to comply with police commands on at least three of those occasions. He kicked a deputy in the shin during one arrest and spit inside the police car during another.

A deputy Tasered him twice last November after he refused to remove his hands from his pockets. Gray later died from what the state medical examiner's office has ruled a case of sudden death associated with restraint and alcohol intoxication.

Gray's parents have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the county.

So we can assume if he's resisted arrest on various other occasions, he'd probably done something wrong and the police more than  likely had probable cause to go after him?  Which more than likely means we're not exactly talking about a candidate for "citizen of the year," here?  Doesn't even sound like he TRIED to be a better person, does it?  Hopefully no court will touch his parents' wrongful death suit.
