(Sports Network) - Candace Parker scored 15 points and grabbed nine rebounds, as the Los Angeles Sparks smothered the Sacramento Monarchs in the second half on their way to a 74-66 win. Lisa Leslie had 14 points and six boards for the Sparks, winners of three straight. Delisha Milton-Jones added 13 points, while Kiesha Brown dished out eight assists.
Rebekkah Brunson pouted in a game-high 16 points and pulled down eight boards for the Monarchs, who had a three-game winning streak snapped. Nicole Powell donated 13 points in the loss.

Trailing 22-8 after the first quarter, Los Angeles outscored Sacramento 66-44 the rest of the way, including 21-5 in the third quarter.
