Hoffman, Fever Crown Monarchs

(Sports Network) - Ebony Hoffman scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, as the Indiana Fever bested the Sacramento Monarchs, 78-73.
Katie Douglas dropped in 20 points for the Fever, who snapped a two-game slide. Tully Bevilaqua chipped in 11 points, while Tammy Sutton-Brown added eight points and six boards for the victors.
Ticha Penicheiro finished with a team-high 15 points for the Monarchs, who have dropped three of their last four contests. Kara Lawson and Nicole Powell scored 12 and 11 points, respectively. Chelsea Newton donated 10 points off the bench in the loss.
