(Sports Network) - Betty Lennox did all she could to give the Dream their first win in franchise history with 44 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, but Atlanta fell to Connecticut, 109-101, in overtime.
Lennox was incredible, going 17-of-32 from the field, including 5-of-12 from three-point range, but the Dream fell to 0-14, setting the worst start by a franchise in WNBA history.
The previous mark of 0-13 was set by the 2002 Detroit Shock. The next year, the Shock went on to win the WNBA Championship.

Asjha Jones scored eight of her team-high 30 points in overtime for the Sun, who won for the third time in four games. They were also responsible for starting Atlanta's season with a humbling 100-67 loss on May 17.
Jones also tallied 10 rebounds, five assists and three blocked shots. Tamika Whitmore added 28 points, while Lindsay Whalen scored 20 to go with 10 rebounds in the victory.
Ivory Latta had 15 points for the Dream, which lost thanks mostly to a big disparity at the foul line. Atlanta was 11-of-13, while Connecticut finished 35-of-44 at the charity stripe.
Atlanta played catch-up for almost the entire portion of regulation, rallying from a 13-point third quarter deficit to eventually grab an 81-80 edge on Tamera Young's three-pointer with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter. Young's three-ball in the waning seconds pushed the game to OT tied 89-89.
However, Connecticut scored 11 in a row during the extra session to grab a 107-96 lead.
