BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, Va. - A woman told police she was attacked by a man late Monday night while walking in the 6000 block of Leesburg Pike, near Bailey's Crossroads.

The victim, a 27-year-old woman, approached a police officer on Wednesday to make the report. She said a man had approached her on Monday night and grabbed her from behind. He pulled her into a grassy area, where the two struggled and fell to the ground, police said

The victim told investigators she agreed to walk with the suspect to a different location. They walked to the 3300 block of Glenmore Drive, where the victim fled when she was momentarily left alone, according to investigators. The woman did not require medical attention, police said.

The suspect was described as white, in his 20s, about 5 feet 3 inches tall and 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a gray shirt and brown pants, police said.
