(Sports Network) - Severe thunderstorms forced NASCAR
(web | news) officials to postpone Friday's Copart 200 Camping World Truck Series race at the Milwaukee Mile.
Heavy rain fell on the one-mile track roughly an hour before the start time. NASCAR has rescheduled the 200-lap event for Saturday at 1:30 p.m. (et).
Qualifying was also rained out earlier in the day.
Brian Ickler will start on the pole since the No.51 Billy Ballew Motorsports team leads in owner points. Matt Crafton, the current leader in driver points, will start on the outside pole, followed by Ron Hornaday Jr., Mike Skinner and Todd Bodine.
The weather outlook in Milwaukee on Saturday looks much better with no rain in the forecast.
