Double Stabbing Suspect Arrested

Prince William County Police arrest a suspect wanted for a double stabbing in Haymarket.
Police say 37-year-old Larry Lexus Carter from New Orleans, Louisiana stabbed a 32-year-old and a 25-year-old woman at a gas station on the 15300 block of Washington Street in Haymarket during an argument around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Both victims were flown to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Investigators say Carter then fled the scene by car and was later spotted by a patrol officer driving in Manassas. Carter again attempted to flee, only to crash his car into three telephone and power poles.
Carter is being charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, plus felony charges for eluding police. Carter is being held without bond and is scheduled to appear in court on August 6.
