Fairfax Officers Search for Police Impersonator

Fairfax County Police are searching for a police impersonator who stopped a woman Monday night on the Capital Beltway near the Dulles Toll Road.
The victim, a 35-year-old Maryland woman, was pulled over about 9:20 p.m. The man who pulled her over refused to provide an agency name, so the victim called 911 for verification.
The suspect drove away.
The victim was not injured.
The vehicle that pulled her over was described as a black sport utility vehicle with blue lights on the dash board. It was equipped with an air horn.
The suspect was a white man, approximately 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds.
He was wearing a blue button-down shirt, khaki cargo shorts, a thigh holster and boots.
