The man who was abducted Thursday night in Fredericksburg while making a delivery for his parents' restaurant was stabbed to death, an autopsy has determined.
The medical examiner says 24-year-old Yong Hui Zhang was fatally stabbed in the chest. The report did not specify when Zhang had been stabbed.
Zhang's body was discovered over the weekend in rural Sussex County, Virginia, about 100 miles south of where he was abducted. Zhang's abandoned vehicle was found near his remains.

The suspects in the case, Jermaine Montgomery, 34, and Marcey White, 36, were arraigned Tuesday on charges of abduction, carjacking, credit card theft and conspiracy. Both are being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
Montgomery's former guardian, Dorothy Sebrell, expressed shock when asked about the allegations.
"It's hard for me to believe he'd kill somebody," said Sebrell. "But taking something, trying to stay alive, trying to get some money, I believe that. But it's hard for me to believe he'd kill somebody."
Montgomery and White were arrested Saturday inside a Franklin, Virginia, Wal-Mart while trying to use the victim's credit card, police said.
Montgomery has been identified by police as the person who used Zhang's credit card at the Four Mile Fork Shell station in Spotsylvania County at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, the night of the abduction.
Police say Zhang left his parents' restaurant, China Express, on Jefferson Davis Highway shortly before 9:30 p.m. Thursday to make deliveries. His parents called police when Zhang did not return by closing time.
Police responded to the last place Zhang delivered to, 202 Charles Street, a vacant apartment. Police found a large amount of blood and a shoe believed to be Zhang's. According to police, the evidence at the scene was consistent with a violent crime. Detectives believe the suspects ordered food to the address in order to rob Zhang.
"It's truly sad, you know, people just trying to make an honest living and something like this happens," said Oliver Sanders, Zhang's friend.
Family members say Zhang had less than $50 on him, making investigators think that's the reason Zhang's bronze 2004 Nissan Sentra was stolen.
