(Sports Network) - Becky Hammon poured in a game-high 26 points and Sophia Young contributed 25 points and 11 rebounds, as the San Antonio Silver Stars needed a big second half to upend the Atlanta Dream, 82-74.
Veterans Vickie Johnson and Ruth Riley added 10 and nine points, respectively, in San Antonio's seventh consecutive win. The Stars drained 22-of-29 from the foul line, but connected on just 4-of-14 from behind the arc.
Betty Lennox led the Dream with 22 points, but it wasn't enough for the club's third straight win after dropping the opening 17 games in franchise history. Ivory Latta and Alison Bales chipped in 14 and 10 points, respectively.

After a 25-25 first quarter, Atlanta jumped ahead with a picture-perfect second stanza, out-scoring the Stars, 22-9 in the period.
But San Antonio did not falter, cutting the deficit to four with just a quarter to go. Hammon drilled a three-pointer to give the Stars a 74-73 lead with just over three minutes remaining, and Atlanta had no answers on the offensive end to take back the lead, as San Antonio moved to a league-best 15-6.
