Sharks Re-Sign Goc

(Sports Network) - The San Jose Sharks re-signed restricted free agent center Marcel Goc to a one-year deal, the club announced on Friday. Per club policy, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Goc, 24, registered five goals and three assists in 51 games last season with the Sharks.

Originally selected by San Jose in the first round (20th overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, the native of Calw, Germany has 18 goals and 25 assists in 210 career games.
