A total of seven teenagers were arrested and put in jail after police said they were a gang of burglars going after dozens of homes and businesses in Prince William County (web|news) .

Police said the burglars busted glass twice to get into the Oasis Restaurant to steal whatever they could get their hands on. When asked if the robbers would have had to visited the restaurant before the robbery, general manager Sean Hindman said, "I would think so. I would that that they knew something about it in any case."

Prince William County police said since April, the group of nine teens from Woodbridge, two under the age of 18, worked together to steal from up to 30 local businesses and homes. "They were pretty organized. They were selective in their loot. They knew what they were going for," Detective Rick Brown.

They took cash, sunglasses and electronics, especially video game systems. Police got on the trail of the burglars after finding some of the items that were stolen.

The band of burglars hit a home in Montclair. The owners are hoping to recover some of what was taken. News of the arrests brings relief, but sadness that young people would choose to victimize their own neighborhoods. "It's sad the way the teenagers are acting today. This is our home," said neighbor Vivian Arbelo.

I can hardly believe that these teens are living and doing this in VA!!!!  My question is where were the parents???  It makes no difference how overworked you are and how many jobs you are holding down - the first job should be the child/children you decided to bring into this world.  You need to know where they are and what they are doing 24/7 and if you start out right you will be able to do this.  I speak from
experience.

I am happy they have been caught and I know the home owners and businesses are also.
