(Sports Network) - The Chicago Blackhawks signed defensemen Aaron Johnson and Doug Janik and center Colin Fraser to one-year contracts on Tuesday.
Johnson, 25, played with the Islanders last season and in 30 games totaled two assists. Over four seasons in the NHL, with his first three in Columbus, he has seven goals and 21 assists in 146 games.
Janik, 28, played with Tampa Bay last season and appeared in 61 games, totaling one goal and three assists. Over seven seasons in the NHL, his first five with Buffalo and the last two with the Lightning, he has three goals and 12 assists in 146 games.

Fraser, 23, played in one game for Chicago in 2006-07 and five games last season for the Blackhawks. He has yet to register a point and is minus-three along with nine penalty minutes.
