(Sports Network) - Ron Hornaday Jr. will start on the pole for Saturday's Built Ford Tough 225 Camping World Truck Series race after topping the charts in qualifying at Kentucky Speedway.

Hornaday, winner of the last two truck races, lapped the 1.5-mile oval at 173.383 m.p.h. (31.145 seconds) in his No.33 Kevin Harvick Inc. Hornaday enters the 225-mile race at Kentucky with a 76-point lead.

Brian Scott will start alongside Hornaday after posting a lap at 173.344 m.p.h.

Hornaday's KHI teammate, Ricky Carmichael, qualified third, while Brian Ickler and Todd Bodine rounded out the top-five.

Stacy Compton, Colin Braun, Tayler Malsam, Timothy Peters and T.J. Bell will start sixth through 10th, respectively.

Ryan Matthews, Jack Smith and Dillon Oliver failed to qualify.

Today's race is scheduled to begin around 7:00 p.m. (et).
