Eboy--the point is if you want to send your kids to school they MUST get vaccinations. If you don't want them to get the shots then home school.

If they don't have the shots or a valid reason, they shouldn't be allowed in the school. Happens every year so parents really don't have an excuse.

Being as the immunization requirements are always publicized at this time of year, being as there's clinics, etc., for kids to get immunizations, there is NO excuse for children not to be in compliance when school starts. (if there are medical or other reasons parents feel their kids should not be made to get the shots, then they need to get with school officials beforehand. While some kids might have valid reasons not to have the shots, 1,000 kids not in compliance is a rediculous number)

Any parent contemplating vaccinations should do some research on the internet. Search on mercury, autism, and vaccines using all three key words at once.
