Security Guard Stabbed at School

A woman is recovering after a violent stabbing in southeast.
The 27-year old woman was working as a security guard at Ferebee-Hope Elementary School in the 3800 block of Eighth Street.
D.C. police say a man she knew approached her and stabbed her 16 times. Police are searching for the suspect who ran from the building after the attack.
The University of the District of Columbia rents out the elementary school.
No students were in class at the time.
