Man Found Dead in Car Along Georgia Avenue

D.C. police have identified the victim of a homicide Friday evening, a man found dead in a car in Northwest. The victim was 48-year-old Stanley Daniels of 7800 Allendale Drive, Landover, Maryland.
Daniels was shot in the head and neck; police found his body in a parked car on the border of the Columbia Heights and Park View neighborhoods.
Police were called to the report of a man's body in a car near the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Newtown Place, NW about 9:30 p.m. Daniels was pronounced dead on the scene.
