(Sports Network) - The Charlotte Bobcats traded the draft rights of Kyle Weaver to the new Oklahoma City franchise for a second-round selection in 2009, the team announced Monday. Weaver, the 38th overall selection in this year's draft, averaged 17.4 minutes over five games for the Bobcats summer league squad in Las Vegas posting averages of 6.2 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists.

The Washington State University product received second team All-Pac 10 honors as a senior, helping the team to a Sweet Sixteen berth while averaging 13.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
