(Sports Network) - Jose Calderon scored 15 points to pace Spain to a 72-59 win over Germany in Group B play Thursday at the Olympics. Alex Mumbru tallied 14 points and Pau Gasol 13 for Spain, which along with the U.S. are the only unbeaten teams in the group of the men's basketball standings.

Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki was limited to 11 points on 5-of-15 shooting, as the Germans fell to 1-2 in group play.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion? Spain had 14 offensive rebounds and forced 18 turnovers, and used a suffocating defense to frustrate the Germans. Steffen Hamann had 15 points to pace Germany.

That basically sets up a must-win for the Germans against China on Saturday if they're to make it to the quarterfinals.

Spain was ahead three at the half and then pulled away with 11 consecutive points to start the third quarter.

In Group A play, Australia battered Iran, 106-68.

The U.S. play Greece tonight. Greece has played the USA just once at the Olympics, with the Americans securing a 77-71 win in 2004. The last time the two teams met, however, Greece shocked the United States with a 101-95 victory in the semifinals of the 2006 FIBA World Championship.
