Two D.C. police officers suffered minor injuries after they were hit by a car early Sunday in NE.
The incident occurred in front of Providence Hospital on Varnum Street. The officers scout car was struck while the officers were off-loading a prisoner at the hospital. One of the officers suffered a broken leg and the other is suffering from leg and back pain.
The driver was arrested after a short pursuit.
