(Sports Network) - The Baltimore Ravens signed quarterback Casey Bramlet prior to Thursday's preseason finale against the Atlanta Falcons.
Bramlet was with the Miami Dolphins last season with current Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron and signed with the San Diego Chargers this past offseason before being cut on Tuesday.
The Ravens have had their share of trouble at the quarterback position through the preseason, as projected first-stringer Kyle Boller suffered a potentially season-ending shoulder injury and backup Troy Smith has a viral infection.

To make room for Bramlet, who has never taken a regular season snap in the NFL, Baltimore cut kicker Piotr Czech.
