Police in Springfield have released surveillance photos of a man who robbed a Bank of America on Rolling Road shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday.

The suspect handed the 20-year-old female employee of the bank, located at 8096 Rolling Road, a note stating the bank was being robbed. Police say the suspect then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash; the employee was not hurt.

The suspect is being described as a white male, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing around 180 pounds. At the time of the robbery he had dark hair, a mustache and a goatee. He was wearing a a black and purple jacked, light-colored pants and a black hat.
