District of Columbia police are investigating two fatal overnight shootings in southeast Washington.
Police say about 1:30 a.m. Saturday officers found 27-year-old Gemel Lamont Williams of southeast D.C. in front of a home on Newcomb Street. He had a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a separate incident about 3 a.m., police found an unidentified man with multiple gunshot wounds on 22nd Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police continue to investigate both incidents.
