(Sports Network) - Noelle Quinn scored eight of her 23 points in overtime as the Los Angeles Sparks turned a six-point deficit in the extra session into a 79-75 win over the Seattle Storm.
Quinn also had seven rebounds for the Sparks, who have won two of their last three contests. Candace Parker registered 18 points and 13 rebounds, while Lisa Leslie tallied 15 points in the win.
Lauren Jackson scored 21 for the Storm, who lost for the second consecutive time. Swin Cash, Camille Little and Tanisha Wright each added 14 points.
Quinn's turnaround jumper with 8.6 seconds left in regulation tied the game at 66, and when Sue Bird missed a shot at the other end for the Storm, the game went into overtime.
Four points from Jackson and Bird's driving layup gave Seattle a 72-66 lead, but Quinn led an ensuing 12-0 charge. She hit a pair of three-pointers, including one that gave the hosts the lead at 74-72 with 1:01 remaining.
After Bird missed a three-ball, Parker sank a turnaround jumper with 23 seconds left, and Quinn drained two from the charity stripe to close the rally, and essentially seal the victory with 14.2 ticks to go.
Wright hit a three-pointer with 9.6 seconds left, but DeLisha Milton Jones made one free throw to account for the final margin.
