(Sports Network) - Lisa Leslie poured in 21 points to become the first player in WNBA history to reach 6,000 career points, as the Sparks beat the Fever, 75-63, at Staples Center.
Leslie finished with 11 rebounds and two assists for Los Angeles, which won for the second time in a row. Candace Parker added 14 points and seven boards, while Kristi Harrower and Noelle Quinn had 10 points each.
Katie Douglas ended with 16 points for Indiana, which lost for the first time since a 84-65 setback to San Antonio on July 23. Tamika Catchings gave 15 points and Briann January 10 in defeat as the Fever had a five-game winning streak snapped.
