(Sports Network) - Candace Parker dropped 18 points and the Los Angeles Sparks shot 56.6 percent from the field to deliver a 78-61 defeat of the Sacramento Monarchs.
Noelle Quinn scored 14 and DeLisha Milton-Jones 13 for the Sparks, who snapped a two-game slide and avenged an 85-79 loss in Sacramento on Friday. Lisa Leslie had 12 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the win.
Nicole Powell registered a game-high 20 points and Rebekkah Brunson posted 14 points and a game-best 11 boards for the Monarchs, who had won two in a row but shot just 39 percent from the floor.
