(Sports Network) - Lisa Leslie poured in a season-high 28 points and grabbed five rebounds, as the Los Angeles Sparks handled the Minnesota Lynx, 78-63, at Staples Center.
DeLisha Milton-Jones added 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists for the Sparks, who have won three in a row after a two-game skid. Noelle Quinn ended with 13 points and a season-high seven assists off the bench. Tina Thompson and Candace Parker, who had 10 boards, had nine points apiece.
Renee Montgomery scored 16 points off the bench to pace the Lynx, who have dropped four straight and seven of eight overall. Candice Wiggins finished with 13 points.
Los Angeles shot 46.4 percent from the field, while Minnesota made just 34.3 percent of its shots. The Sparks, who led by as many as 31, outscored the Lynx 25-9 in the third quarter to take control of the game.
