(Sports Network) - Nebraska football head coach Bo Pelini
announced Saturday that junior running back Quentin Castille has been
dismissed from the program due to a violation in team rules.
Castille carried the ball 106 times as a sophomore, compiling 467 yards and
six touchdowns. In the team's 26-21 win over Clemson in the Gator Bowl,
Castille ran for 125 yards on 18 carries.
Pelini did not explain the specific rule that Castille violated. Castille had
been battling for the starting running back position, but Roy Helu, Jr. seems
to have solidified that role with Saturday's announcement.
