(Sports Network) - Chicago Bears defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek is scheduled to undergo arthroscopic surgery Friday on his right knee.
The procedure will determine the severity of the injury Dvoracek suffered in Saturday's game against the Giants. He was originally diagnosed with a sprained MCL, but it has been speculated that he could have a torn ACL, as well.
A third-round pick out of Oklahoma in 2006, Dvoracek has appeared in just 13 games in three seasons due to injuries. He missed his entire rookie year with a foot injury and tore his left ACL in the first game of the 2007 season. He made 12 starts last season before tearing his right biceps muscle.
He has 31 tackles in his career, including 29 in 2008.
