Prince George's County Police are asking for the public's help in finding a Bowie State University student who has been missing since late last week. Eighteen-year-old Julian McCormick's friends and family say they have not heard from him since he left campus Saturday morning to pick up his girlfriend. Flor Orellana-Diaz says she talked to her boyfriend at 11 that morning and he said he was on her way to pick her up. He never showed up, and nobody has heard from him since.

McCormick's mother, Peggy McCormick, says it's not like her son to go off. She says they all just want him back home.

ABC 7 News myTAKE - What's Your Opinion? His parents spent hours putting up fliers at Bowie State and Laurel High School, where McCormick graduated in June.

Bowie State Police Chief Ernest Waiters says there doesn't seem to have been any trouble before McCormick disappeared.

He is described as 6 feet tall, black and 175 pounds. Anyone with information is asked to call Prince George's County Police.

Crazy how the white BYU student that is missing is all over CNN and there is a massive search going on for this girl. But this young Black male is making local news only.

I hope they find him. My prayers are with this family
