P.G. County Police Urge Caution After Sexual Assault

Prince George's County police are urging women to be cautious after a brazen sexual assault Wednesday at an apartment complex.
Police say it happened just before 11:30 a.m. on the 5600 block of Longfellow Street in Riverdale, MD., at Oakridge Apartments.
The victim told investigators that the suspect, knocked on her door posing as a maintenance worker. Once the suspect gained entry into the apartment, he bound the victim with tape and sexually assaulted her.
Police say the suspect was last seen wearing a blue Oakridge Apartments maintenance uniform with a white hat.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his twenties, 5'4" and 120 pounds. He is clean shaven with a dark complexion, brown eyes and black hair.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about the assault to contact the Prince George's County Police Department's Sexual Assault Unit at (301) 772-4908.
A cash reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
