Prettyboy I believe you, I have seen Metro bus drivers give the finger to people. I have been on the 38B, this bus goes through Georgetown; when the light turns green they lay on the horn if the car in front of them takes 2 seconds to move. Some of them are very bad drivers, I have seen male passengers standing next to the female driver talking/flirting for the entire trip. I have seen them talk on the phone. I ride the bus 1 or 2 times a month god knows what I would see if I was on a bus every day.

I no longer assume they're going to stop for people in the walkways, they're driving 40-45mph in a 30 zone most of the time anyways. Bottom line, don't assume and don't play chicken with a 15 ton vehicle - you'll loose every time. I hope Metro really cracks down on the drivers like putting GPS units that track location, speed, G - forces of their turns (if they're turning too fast it will record it) and really be a "big brother" to their drives to show they're not going to put up with irresponsible drivers.

I would like to add that I live here in Gaithersburg, Maryland and last Friday I was driving on West Deer Park when a Ride-On Bus was picking up/discharging passengers. These "drivers", and I use the term loosely are arogant and bullies. This particular driver had picked up passengers and then, without heisitation began pulling out right along side my vehicle. He was about to side-swipe me so out of courtesy I honked my horn. Now instead of him being grateful for me warning him he LEANED ON THE BUS HORN and then as I glanced over he was mouthing off to me. I had my car windows up but I bet the passengers heard some rude and nasty words inside his bus. Let me add that if one of these buses ever hits me I will sue the county for all I can grab. They need to be retrained. This isn't a first for me with these damn buses. I wish to hell they would take them off the roads.

Before seeing this I was thinking that it was an accident, this man was driving aggressive, very aggressive. Why was he in such a hurry? Why are so many buses in such a hurry? Could it be if they get to the end of their route early they get a 5 or 10 minute break? Maybe Metro should change things so the driver has a 10 minute break after each route.

METRO PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR DRIVERS! I still see them driving aggressively.
