Activists Gear Up for Antiwar Demonstration

Antiwar activists are gearing up for a week of events meant to crank up a national demonstration against the war in Iraq.
It's set to begin Saturday, with a march, rally and a 1,000-person "die-in" at the U.S. Capitol led by current and former American soldiers.
They'll be accompanied by taps and a mock 21-gun salute.
Organizers say they hope the event will spur people in the antiwar movement toward civil disobedience.
The ANSWER Coalition expects tens of thousands of participants.
More activities are planned next week, including protests at military recruitment centers and the Pentagon.
Two counter protest groups, the Gathering of Eagles, made up of Vietnam Veterans, and the D.C. chapter of the conservative group Free Republic plan to rally and line the protest route.
