Attempted Abduction Arrest in Manassas

Officers were called to the address for a reported argument. When they arrived, the officers spotted a man leaving on a bike. The victim told officers she was walking to a friend's house when the bicycle-riding man approached her from behind and grabbed the back of her shirt. She says the man told her he would take her someplace where she could not get away. The victim pulled away and made a commotion. A witness confronted the man, who fled.
Police arrested 19-year-old Jose Sanchez Candelerio a short time later near Stonewall Park. He's been charged with attempted abduction.
