Earth to SusanMarie2, please get real or at least do some real research before you let your fingers paint your emotion via the keyboard. The fact is that the US can only handle so much influx of people and cannot welcome of the whole world, but that is in fact what we've been doing. I applaud VA for at least addressing the issue. Something needs to be done now to preserve what America is. We can no longer welcome the whole world with open arms. Doing so is neither practical or compassionate in the long run. Also, I personally don't feel comfortable, when 38 (yes 38) guys are crowded in my local 7-11 speaking nothing but Spanish .. which is what happened to me this morning on my way to work. I have nothing against hispanics. In fact, I am married to one. She was a citizen before I married her and she learned the English language. She even understands the problems with illegal visitors. She even understands the problems with a factionated society, being torn into pieces by people who care not for American values, history or the English language. That's ridiculous, they aren't all gentle, and anyone who can read knows it. Some are violent criminals and as such need to be contained. Fyi, an average of 24 people die in this country everyday due to illegal aliens, through either violent crime or drunk driving. The "Latino leaders" are supporters of open borders and don't want to draw attention to the numbers of illegal aliens who commit violent crime here.

This is just sick. People whining about illegal immigrants need to wake up and see who the real enemy is and that is the terrorist regime threat from around the world, people who would love to take away your freedom or KILL you, not the gentle souls who come from south of the border to work in this country.

1,000 beds aren?t enough but it is a great idea for a separate holding area. Sheriff Joe in Arizona set a tent city from surplus materials and feeds detainees for almost nothing. Vacant warehouses or tent cities are much cheaper then major jail settings so consider these invaders as prisoners of war and set up bunk houses surrounded by barbwire. It does not take thick concrete walls to hold people in one place.

Of course the Latino groups are going to cry because they KNOW their people are the main ones that are ILLEGAL here!! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that. So because every time somebody yells illegal they want to get upset, well let's keep it real and just say Hispanic. I mean they are the ones that are always making a fuss, marching, etc. right? You don't see Africans, Russians, Italians, etc. marking and making a fuss, but you do see a multitude of Hispanics involved in many crimes that wind up being illegal.

Rather than wasting our time supporting them in jail, just put them on a plane and send them back. Take them to the southern most tip of South America and drop them off, they don't do us any good here except cost taxpayers money.
