(Sports Network) - The 10th-seeded tandem of American Lisa Raymond and Aussie Samantha Stosur secured a spot in the women's doubles final at the 2008 U.S. Open. Raymond-Stosur stopped a fourth-seeded pairing of Slovenia's Katarina Srebotnik and Japan's Ai Sugiyama 7-5, 6-1 on Thursday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

The 35-year-old Raymond and 24-year-old Stosur will meet the winner of the other semifinal between the top-seeded team of Zimbabwe's Cara Black and American Liezel Huber and the fifth-seeded duo of Spaniards Anabel Medina Garrigues and Virginia Ruano Pascual.
