A man was killed during a triple shooting that occurred at a Northeast playground, according to police.

The shooting happened around 3 a.m. Sunday in the 3700 block of Hayes Street. When police arrived on the scene they discovered three adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, 24-year-old Anthony Maurice Washington, of Jay Street in Northeast, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two surviving victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. They have not been identified pending a police investigation.

Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099 or 1-888-919-CRIME. The D.C. Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for any information that leads to an arrest.
