(Sports Network) - Arizona quarterback Kurt Warner, Washington safety Chris Horton and Cowboys kick returner Felix Jones were named the NFC's top players for Week 2.
Warner posted a perfect 158.3 passer rating to help Arizona to a 2-0 start for the first time in 17 years in a 31-10 romp of the Miami Dolphins. The 11-year veteran went 19-for-24 with 361 yards and three touchdowns. It was the third time in his career that he managed a perfect rating in game and was the first since October 1, 2000. He is the first Cardinal to accomplish the feat since Jim Hart on November 23, 1975. It is the seventh time in his career that he has won the weekly honor.
Making his first career start, Horton notched three tackles, two interceptions and recovered a fumble in the Redskins (

He is the first Washington rookie to win the defensive award since Champ Bailey in Week 6 of the 1999 campaign.

Jones, the Cowboys' first-round pick (22nd overall) in the 2008 NFL Draft set a club record with 247 kickoff-return yards in Dallas' 41-37 win on Monday against the Philadelphia Eagles. The rookie from Arkansas had six kickoff returns and averaged 41.2 yards per return, including a 98-yard touchdown in the first quarter. Jones' kickoff-return yards broke the previous mark held by Reggie Swinton (213 yards on September 22, 2002), and the most in the NFL since Houston's Jerome Mathis had 266 yards on November 20, 2005.
