Terps' Basketball Program's Graduation Rate Drops

A new report from the NCAA shows the University of Maryland's men's basketball team was the only Division One program in the nation that failed to graduate any players who enrolled between 1997 and 2000.

The graduation rate for the Maryland basketball program even as the rate improved slightly nationwide. None of the starters on Maryland's 2002 national championship team graduated within six years of enrolling. Coach Gary Williams tells The (Baltimore) Sun the players have succeeded economically even though they don't have a degree. He says they make more than the average college graduate.
