Sheriff's Deputies Break Up School Brawl

Prince George's County Sheriff's Deputies intervened in a fight at Forestville Military Academy Thursday morning that sent at least four people to the hospital and led to eight arrests. The school system, the Sheriff's Department and students all gave conflicting and overlapping accounts of what happened. Investigators say the altercation happened about 9:15 a.m.
According to students, it was a neighborhood beef that turned into a hallway brawl. Prince George's County Schools Spokesman John White says three people were trespassing at the school. Some of the trespassers had been expelled or suspended.
Once the teens got inside, they jumped someone at the school, according to witnesses.
A schools spokesman says two students were transported to the hospital, one with facial injuries. ABC 7/NewsChannel 8 reporter interviewed the parents of four students who were treated at the hospital One boy's mother says the teens kicked her son in the chest and head, breaking his nose.
According to a statement released by the school, eight people were arrested, including seven juveniles and an 18-year-old student.
At least one person involved in the fight got away, according to the statement.
